A World Thinking Day event was held Tuesday, April 17 at Park Rapids Area High School. The theme was water conservation around the world. Girl Scouts listened to guest speaker Mark Sommer from the Hubbard County Soil and Water Division and learned about Park Rapids Wellspring, a non-profit organization digging wells in Ghana. Several hands-on stations were set up for girls to learn about water.
