The Wolf Lake Harvest Fest, held on Friday and Saturday, August 16 and 17, has announced its winners and event times for this year.

Pageant results: Miss Wolf Lake Bailey Yliniemi, first princess Michela Sanders and second Princess Sasha Sazama; Miss Wolf Lake Grace Jaroszewski and Jr. Princess Desarae Kohrs; Little Miss Wolf Lake Shelby Johnson, first princess Kyah Jantz, and second princess Khloe Harrison.

Blood Drive Drawing winners were Tina Hass and Kimberly Aho.

Antique Tractor Show Best Restoration awards went to Dave Eckert first and Clarence Paurus second.

Mud Run results were (Powder Puff) Carrie Robbins, (ATV 4WD) Brent Wanderi first and Drew Bartelson second, (Stock) Bill Myers first and Kyle Hertell second, (Modified) Dave Kriens first, Gary Johnson second.

5K Times were Annika Aho (22:19), Tim Ellingson (22:56), Andreas Aho (22:57), Connor Korvela (23:10) and Wade Bertunnen (23:26).

The Wolf Lake Harvest Festival Raffle winners were Rose Vaughn (first place, $500), Jan Mickelson (second place, $250), Susan Jaroszewski (third place, $100), Steven Meyers (fourth place, $50), Ted Anderson (fifth place, $50).

According to its website, “The Wolf Lake Harvest Fest is an annual event put on as a way for the community to get together, meet their neighbors, take a break and enjoy the summer.”

It was started in 1983 by John & Karen Aho and Stanley Myllykangas. Since then responsibility has passed on to Andrea Yliniemi, Dale Huwe, Amanda Aho & Carrie Aho.

According to the site, “this weekend would never happen if it weren’t for the help of the numerous volunteers and community.”
