Hubbard County, along with most of the north woods region and northern North Dakota, is in a winter storm warning.

Heavy snow and light winds are contributing to poor visibility in open areas. Conditions, according to the National Weather Service in Grand Forks, will continue to deteriorate today as up to 6 inches of snow falls and wind speeds pick up.

So far few accidents have occurred, but it may be because folks are staying home.
