Winter returns with a vengeance; snow and frigid wind chills arrive

Email

Hubbard County could see some fairly significant snowfall today.

"You're in the 2- to 5-inch forecast range," said National Weather Service meteorologist Mark Ewens.

"It will snow all day, tapering off mid to late after-noon. It's a fairly fast-moving storm."

Ewens said travel to any point south, "St. Cloud, Minneapolis, even Fergus Falls" will be difficult today.

"There's a fairly sharp cutoff of snow, so travel north shouldn't be so bad," he said.
