Wife of motorcycle crash victim upgraded to stable condition
A 44-year-old Alexandria man died and his wife was seriously injured after their motorcycle struck a deer and rolled southwest of Wadena Friday afternoon.
Thomas E. Turner was pronounced dead at Tri-County Hospital in Wadena.
His wife, Joan M. Turner, 45, was upgraded from critical condition to serious but stable condition as of Monday morning.
According to the Minnesota State Patrol, the accident occurred on Highway 210, two miles east of Highway 29, in Otter Tail County at 4:40 p.m. Friday.
Thomas Turner was driving the 2009 Harley-Davidson when it struck a deer, throwing both him and his wife from the bike, according to the State Patrol.
Joan Turner was airlifted from Tri-County Hospital to North Memorial in Robbinsdale.
