West Fargo teen tells police he made false report hoping to get a date with dance team member

WEST FARGO – An 18-year-old high school student here could face criminal charges after falsely reporting a fire in an effort to get a date.


Assistant Police Chief Michael Reitan said police and fire crews found nothing wrong when they responded to the report of a fire at the Lodoen Community Center, 109 St. E., about 2:25 p.m. Wednesday.
