Volunteer injured during flood making recovery
An EVAC volunteer who was hit by a car March 27 in Fargo while directing traffic during flood-fighting efforts is making a strong recovery and should be able to take off his halo brace in four weeks, he said Sunday.
Shawn O'Donnell was introduced by Fargo Mayor Dennis Walaker before Sunday afternoon's Fargo-Moorhead RedHawks game, which honored flood volunteers.
"It's good to be alive," O'Donnell told the crowd.
