UPDATED 11:30: Dayton maintains slight lead in governor's race

Minnesota voters gave a liberal they know a governor's race lead late Tuesday, but no one was declaring victory.

Mark Dayton, a well-known liberal with a long record in office, received 47 percent of the vote with 42 percent of Minnesota precincts reporting, unofficial secretary of state returns showed. Tom Emmer, a conservative new to statewide politics, had 40 percent.
