FRIDAY, DEC. 20

The second annual Nourishing Holiday Treats Challenge will be at 4 p.m. Friday, Dec. 20 at Evergreen Church in Park Rapids.

Anyone is welcome to enter the contest to possibly win a prize or help sample to decide the winner.

There will be a selection of prizes for everyone who entered the contest, with the winner getting first choice.

Here are the rules:

The recipe may not contain white sugar, white flour or other highly processed ingredients (no agave syrup, baking mixes etc.)

Bring at least one copy of the recipe with name of recipe and ingredients to display next to your item.

If you can, label it GAPS legal or gluten-free, or grain-free or just WAP approved (Lots of copies for people to take would be best.)

Your treat does not have to be something sweet. It can be a dip or appetizer.

Hot water and tea as well as organic coffee will be provided.

An unsupervised playroom is available in the back. It would be easier not to bring children since the sampling will be limited to adults.

Contact Tanja Larson at 732-9402 with any questions.
