-The Bemidji Symphony Orchestra will perform a concert entitled "Triumphant Tchaikovsky" at 3 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 15 at the Bemidji High School auditorium. Monday, Nov. 16
-The Mantrap Valley Conservation Club will meet for a potluck meal at 6 p.m. Monday, Nov. 16 at the clubhouse. Meat, potatoes and vegetables will be served. Guests are asked to bring dessert. All club and auxiliary members and guests are invited. The men's group regular meeting will follow the meal.

-The Park Rapids Class of 1980 will hold a planning meeting for their 30-year reunion at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 17 at The Good Life Café in Park Rapids.
Wednesday, Nov. 18
-The Trombone Choir, an ensemble made up of musicians from Bemidji State University and the Bemidji and other surrounding communities, will hold a free concert at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 18 in the main theatre of the Bangsberg Fine Arts Complex on the BSU campus. Thursday, Nov. 19
-The Park Rapids Area Library will have a senior surf day from 8:30 to 10:30 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 19 at the library. Seniors interested in learning the basics about computers and the Internet are invited. Space is limited, so call the library at 732-4966 to reserve a spot. There is no charge for this training.
Friday, Nov. 20
-The 2010 Park Rapids All School Reunion will hold its annual fall fundraiser from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday, Nov. 20 at the Park Rapids American Legion Club. The meal will feature Evie Harvala's (class of 1960) famous meatballs and gravy, mashed potatoes and all the fixings. Reunion buttons will be available for sale and reunion apparel will be on display to order. All Park Rapids High School alumni are encouraged to register at www.prhsreunion.com. -The North Country Health Services Foundation will have a seminar entitled "Building Financial Security" at noon Friday, Nov. 20 a North Country Regional Hospital Education Center in Bemidji.
-First City Squares of Bemidji is hosting a square dance from 7:30 to 10 p.m. Friday, Nov. 20 at the United Methodist Fellowship Hall in Bemidji. Plus tips will be given during the first half hour. Saturday, Nov. 21
-The Laporte-Benedict Lions will hold their annual fall bazaar from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 21 in the commons area of Laporte School. The Lions soup and sandwich lunch will be in the community room from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Bars and beverages will be served throughout the day. Thanksgiving and Christmas items will be available.
-St. Peter the Apostle Church will have a fall bazaar from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 21 at the church in Park Rapids. The bazaar will feature area crafts, bake sale and door prizes. There will also be a children's activity room.
-Akeley United Methodist Church will have a "Christmas in the Country" bazaar from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 21 at the church. The event will feature holiday crafts, baked goods and gift items.
-The Friendly Squares will host a square dance starting at 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 21 at Century School. The caller will be Lanny Weakland and Donna Stone will cue rounds. The event will start with a round dance workshop from 2 to 3 p.m., then a mainstream workshop from 3 to 4:30 p.m. At 5 p.m., the club will furnish a potluck dinner. From 6:30 to 7 p.m., there will be pre-rounds followed by mainstream square dancing from 7 to 9:30 p.m. All square dancers and spectators are welcome.
