An 88-year-old Bemidji woman died Monday after suffering injuries in a two-vehicle crash near Horace May Elementary School.

The Minnesota State Patrol said Fladella A. McCullough died while she was being transported to a Fargo hospital.

According to the State Patrol:

McCullough was preparing to exit from Horace May school onto Highway 71 when she pulled in front of a southbound vehicle.

The State Patrol said the southbound vehicle driven by Janet J. Lund, 22, of Bemidji, struck McCullough's car on the driver's side.
