The Bemidji Fire Department, Beltrami Country Sheriff's Office, Minnesota State Patrol and Bemidji Ambulance Service responded to a two-vehicle accident on Highway 71 South, across from Horace May Elementary School, at 1:52 p.m. Monday. Two-vehicle crash kills Bemidji woman

An 88-year-old Bemidji woman died Monday after suffering injuries in a two-vehicle crash near Horace May Elementary School.

The Minnesota State Patrol said Fladella A. McCullough died while she was being transported to a Fargo hospital.

According to the State Patrol:

McCullough was preparing to exit from Horace May school onto Highway 71 when she pulled in front of a southbound vehicle.

Emergency crews were called to the crash scene at 1:52 p.m.
