Park Rapids will be sending more limbs skyward, thanks to a recent tree distribution sponsored by the Rotary and the city of Park Rapids. Two hundred-plus red maple, chokecherry, juneberry, red crab apple, red Norway and white spruce headed out the doors of city hall last week, accompanied by tree tubes to protect the seedlings from deer. Rotarians Dave W. Konshok, left, and Kent Cease, right, assisted Don and Kay Hoffman. (Jean Ruzicka / Enterprise)
