The Menahga Midsummer Festival Friday-Saturday was packed full of activities for young and old. At left, log rolling was demonstrated at the Great Lakes Timber Show with three shows next to Spirit Lake. The show also featured chainsawing, crosscut sawing, modified chainsawing and audience participation. Center, the grand parade Saturday night featured a marching band along with many other floats, clowns and more. At right, the annual Conservation Club Kids Fishing Derby at the Spirit Lake Fishing Pier was packed with people. Other events during the weekend included amusement park rides for kids, the St. Urho run, horseshoe tournaments and firemen's water fight.
