Three hurt in Wadena County ATV collision with car
A man in a car and two kids on an ATV were hurt in a crash Monday in Meadow Township in Wadena County.
The Wadena County Sheriff's Department said it got the call around 3 p.m. Monday, and found two kids who were thrown from the ATV in the collision, and a man in a car who also needed medical attention. One of the ATV riders was pinned underneath the machine.
The sheriff's office said Christopher Suhl, 41, said the ATV pulled out in front of him and he didn't have time to stop. Nathanya Jones, 17, and Shanon Harris, 14, said they did not see the approaching vehicle and had pulled out on the road.
All three were taken to Tri-County Hospital in Wadena and treated and released for minor injuries, the sheriff's office said. The crash is still under investigation.
The Wadena County Sheriff's Office was assisted on scene by the Sebeka First Responders and Fire Department, Sebeka Police Department and the Menahga Police Department.
