Three arrested in southern ND meth bust at casino
About 1 pound of methamphetamines was found in a room at Dakota Magic Casino on Wednesday, and three people have been arrested in connection with the case.
Manuel Quintero, 39, of Paramount, Calif., and Michelle Quintero, 40, of Lidgerwood, N.D., were found with about $80,000 worth of methamphetamines. Meth paraphernalia also was found in their hotel room, according to a statement from the Southeast Multi-County Agency Drug Task Force.
They were arrested and face felony charges of possession of methamphetamines with intent to distribute and of possession of meth paraphernalia.
In connection with the incident, Debbie Lee McFadden, 46, of San Pedro, Calif., was arrested after she was found in possession of meth paraphernalia in another room. She also faces felony charges.
Manuel and Michelle Quintero are being held on a $1 million bond, while McFadden is being held on a $25,000 bond. All three are being held at the Richland County Correctional Facility in Wahpeton.
The case is still under investigation by the Southeast Multi-County Agency.
