Update: Missing 5-year-old from fatal Bemidji fire found alive

Teen driver cited after rear-end collision north of PR Friday

A 17-year-old Park Rapids girl was cited in a rear-end accident Friday afternoon on Highway 71 north of Park Rapids.

The unidentified teen, driving a 1999 Acura Integra, rear-ended a Big Lake man who was southbound on the highway waiting to make a left turn. Gary Rehborg, 64, was not injured. He was driving a 2003 Chevy 3500 truck, hauling a trailer belonging to R&R Rental that had a Bobcat on the it. That is what the girl's car struck.

The teen was taken by ambulance to St. Joseph's Area Health Services for treatment of bumps, bruises and a foot injury, according to the State Patrol. The accident occurred at 4 p.m. The teen was cited for inattentive driving.
