Sweep in doubles sparks Panthers past Patriots
Park Rapids Minnesota PO Box 111 56470

A sweep in doubles and two convincing wins in the top singles spots led the Park Rapids girls tennis team to a 5-2 Mid-State Conference win over Pequot Lakes Thursday at the Depot Courts.

Julia Renner and Charity Ridlon didn’t drop a game in their first appearance as No. 1 doubles partners while Sarena Kinkel and Lindsey Girtz lost only two games in a straight-set win at No. 2 doubles. Ali Walsh and Kellsey Clark completed the sweep in doubles with a straight-set win at the No. 3 spot.
