Superintendent: Classes will open in the fall at WDCHS

Email News Alerts

There will be classes for Wadena-Deer Creek High School students this fall, but they probably won't be in the current high school.

Ravaged by a tornado with pieces of the community center still lying on top of it, the building is unlikely to be ready for students this fall. But WDC Superintendent Virginia Dahlstrom said Saturday they will be ready to teach students on day one.

"We are planning to start on the first day of school," Dahlstrom said.
