Stolen guns, drugs found in Osakis bust
Stolen guns and marijuana were turned up in a drug bust in Osakis on January 28.
According to the West Central Narcotics Task Force, a search warrant was issued at 11 West Main Street in Osakis, where officers recovered two stolen guns, marijuana, scales, packaging supplies and $2,310 in cash near the drugs.
The bust stemmed from the report of guns stolen from a Glenwood residence. During the investigation, officers learned the guns, found in the Osakis bust, had been traded for an outstanding drug debt.
Michael Todd Stordahl, 24, of Glenwood was arrested for the theft of the guns and he was booked into Douglas County Jail.
A 17-year-old male juvenile from Osakis was also arrested and was held in a juvenile facility. A 17-year-old female from Osakis was not arrested but charges are pending, according to the task force.
Stordahl was charged with two felonies: burglary and theft. He pleaded not guilty to both charges and is scheduled to be in court again on February 7 for an omnibus hearing.
The Glenwood Police Department, West Central Narcotics Task Force, Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension and Osakis Police Department executed the search warrant January 28 in Osakis.
