The annual holiday bazaar and craft show at St. Peter the Apostle Catholic Church in Park Rapids raises funds for kitchen supplies. Member Faye Wermerskirchen said funds go to the Family Guild, which all church members belong to, then to purchasing food or equipment for the kitchen. Home-made items from 38 vendors filled the parish hall this year. Fleece mittens, scarves and hats were big sellers. "It's a good project," Wermerskirchen said. Each year a different parish group rotates the duties such as cooking, setting up and cleaning.
