Two squirrels caused a power shortage by getting in the line on 7th Street SW resulting in a one-hour loss of power to 200 homes, M State and the junior high school late Monday afternoon.

A partial power loss occurred when one phase of the three phase feeder line came down, said Rick Schwartz, interim City of Wadena electric and water superintendant. City of Wadena workers had to shut down the entire feeder line in order to make repairs.
