Snowmobile races provide thrills for spectators

A thrill a second is taking place today in Hubbard County.

Dozens of daredevil snowmobile racers are headed up and down County Road 4 at speeds you shouldn't even try at home.

Saturday racers were humming along Long and Peysenske lakes at 100 mph.

On the groomed trail to Emmaville and beyond, speeds reached 50-70 mph as sleds careened through on one ski.

There have been no reportable accidents so far, but plenty of stiff and sore riders.

Read all about the races in Wednesday's Enterprise.
