Soaring Eagle Ski Trails are open and continuing to be groomed.

The trails are located about 9 miles north of Park Rapids on the west side of Highway 71.

Due to rainfall and warm temperatures a week ago, members of the Itascatur Ski-Bike-Run club were worried that some people might think skiing was done for the season.

But Janine Weideman, a member of the club, said they have been skiing since then and the trails are in good spring skiing condition.
