Sheriff: Man arrested after drive-by shooting, victims were witnesses in drunken driving case
A 37-year-old Bemidji man and his parents were arrested following an early Saturday morning drive-by shooting which investigators believe was in retaliation for testimony in an upcoming drunken driving trial.
Edward Michael Halvorson was arrested for firing at least two rounds from a high-powered rifle into a home in the 3100 block of Mill Street Northeast, a Beltrami County Sheriff's Office news release said.
