Personnel shifts in the Hubbard County Sheriff’s Department started this week as the squad fills vacancies and gives officers an opportunity to do new things.

Chad Olson gave up his sergeant’s badge to become the department’s new investigator.

Investigator Colter Diekmann moved to another department in investigations.

Dep. Jeff Stacey was promoted to sergeant. Dep. Josh Oswald was promoted to full-time and is Nevis’ newest officer.

Nate Stein was recently hired from the Leech Lake Tribal police and is a road deputy.
