Tatum Sheley's 20 points and Autumn Ackerman's 12 points and 15 rebounds led Pine River-Backus to a 71-21 win over the Park Rapids girls basketball team last Friday night at the Area High School gym.

Megan Felthous also hit double figures for the Tigers with 10 points.

Charity Ridlon (8) and Katie Klein (6) combined for 14 points for the Panthers, who trailed 52-14 at the half. Megan Grimes grabbed 11 rebounds and had three steals while Ridlon had eight rebounds as the Panthers fell to 1-22 on the season.

Sheley leads PR-B past Braves

Sheley also scored 20 points and Ackerman added 14 points and 13 rebounds in leading the Tigers to a 66-54 win over Menahga Tuesday night at Menahga.

Brittany Kelley added 11 points as the Tigers improved to 18-7.

Tarah Cleveland had 18 points, eight rebounds and five steals to lead the Braves. Arielle Pihlaja had seven rebounds, Alicia Ahlf had six rebounds and Beth Tormanen had six steals as Menahga fell to 11-13 on the season.
