Sharon Lee Drumbeater-Voas, 39, of Minneapolis, died Monday, March 31, 2008, in Minneapolis.
The funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at the Cass Lake Facility Center. A wake will begin at 3 p.m. today at the Cass Lake Facility Center and will continue until the time of the funeral. Burial will be in the Lakeview Cemetery in Boy Lake. Cease Family Funeral Home of Cass Lake assisted the family with arrangements.
Pallbearers will be Alexander Bellanger, Ethan Burnette, Buck Drumbeater, Jerome Anderson, David Drumbeater and Jeremy Drumbeater.
Honorary pallbearers will be Ron Burnette, Willis Burnette, Michael Burnette, Kenn Mitchell, Robert Mitchell and Michael Grossohme.
She was born Sept. 1, 1968, to Charles Drumbeater and Gladys Burnette in Cass Lake. At the age of 2, she moved with her family to Minneapolis. She was adopted at the age of 6 by Duane and Jo Voas. She attended school in Eden Prairie, Minn. She enjoyed reading, writing, computers and traveling.
She is survived by her son, William Swearingen of Princeton, Minn.; daughters, Charlotte Swearingen and, Vivian Hernandez, both of Princeton; mother, Gladys (Wayne) Sandland of Minneapolis; brother, Michael Grossohme of Pine River, Minn.; sisters, Charlotte Drumbeater-Voas of Minneapolis and Gina Tanner of Bemidji; adoptive parents, Jo Voas of International Falls, Minn., Duane Voas of Lakeville, Minn.; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her father; and a daughter, Brenda Swearingen.
