Several Nevis businesses broken into early Monday
The Hubbard County Sheriff's office reports at approximately 4:22 a.m. Monday, deputies responded to a report of a suspicious, taller male wearing a "hoody" running down the street and a vehicle parked and idling in front of a business in Nevis.
Upon officers' arrival, the vehicle and the individual could not be located. Upon further investigation, it was discovered that several businesses were broken into or attempted to be broken into.
The businesses included the Iron Horse Bar & Grill, Bullwinkle's, Musky Waters Company Bike Rental, Steve & Jill's Steak & Pizza, Meyer's Meat Market and Northwind Grocery.
Considerable damage was done to the businesses and an undisclosed amount of cash and liquor were taken. Evidence was collected at each scene. Hubbard County deputies are continuing their investigation.
