Semi rolls on wet pavement Tuesday, blocks Highway 200 in Mahnomen County for five hours
An Iowa man suffered minor injuries Tuesday morning when the semi tractor-trailer rig he was driving lost control on wet blacktop and rolled on Highway 200 in Mahnomen County, blocking the highway.
The roadway was closed for about five hours following the accident, according to the State Patrol.
Kenney D. Clark, 28, of Spencer, Iowa was driving the 2007 Peterbilt semi westbound with a load of oriented strand board, or waferboard. The accident was reported about 9:30 a.m. at milepost 66 on Highway 200.
Firefighters from Twin Lakes and Mahnomen Ambulance workers responded to the scene, as did deputies from Clearwater and Mahnomen counties.
