Sebeka man dies in rollover accident

The Wadena County Sheriff's Office received a call of a one-vehicle crash around 9:30 Thursday morning. Upon the arrival of emergency personnel, a white passenger car was found upside down in a drainage ditch full of water. The driver of the vehicle, Joshua Kangas, 26, of Sebeka, was found outside the vehicle. Upon the arrival of ambulance personnel, it was determined Kangas was showing no signs of life. The vehicle Kangas was driving was traveling northbound on 199th Avenue in Meadow Township when it left the road and rolled into the ditch. The exact time of the crash is unknown at this time but is estimated to be around the midnight hour. An autopsy is planned to determine the exact cause of death. The Wadena County Sheriff's Office was assisted on scene by the Sebeka Fire Department, Tri-County Ambulance, Minnesota State Patrol, Minnesota DNR, and Wevley Funeral Home.
