The polar express that raced into the region has delayed school openings this morning once again.
Park Rapids and Nevis schools will be two hours late this morning, Wednesday, Jan. 14. The Enterprise could not confirm if Menahga schools will also be late. There was no answer at that district's offices early Wednesday morning.
Wind chills of 50 below zero have caused the region to grind to a halt temporarily. Weekend forecasts are much better, with highs Saturday in the teens above zero and highs Sunday reaching into the 20s.
