SBDC now offering local office hours
The Northwest Minnesota Small Business Development Center (NW MN SBDC) will be partnering with Hubbard County Regional Economic Development Commission (HCREDC) to offer local office hours.
A consultant from the NW SBDC will be at the Hubbard County Courthouse, room B-11 (located at 301 Court Avenue, Park Rapids) on the first Tuesday of each month from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. to meet with small business owners and entrepreneurs.
The goal of the NW SBDC is to stimulate the economy and promote new job opportunities through small business. The SBDC provides free information and confidential consulting to assist people to start, build and grow their businesses.
SBDC consultants will meet with small business owners who have businesses in any stage, working with individuals who are just getting started in developing their business plans to those who have been in business for many years.
The SBDC provides consulting, training and information in all aspects of small business management and development including (but are not limited to): strategic planning, financial projections, market analysis, mergers and acquisitions, expansion, diversification, franchising, loan packaging, accounting and record keeping, patents, human resources, marketing plans, and business planning.
In addition to the one-on-one consulting services, the SBDC will partner with many organizations to provide a variety of business training workshops and events.
The services of the SBDC are confidential, one-on-one, and are provided at no charge.
