Poor visibility, blustery snow will last all day in Hubbard County
Blustery conditions and poor visibility will persist in the Hubbard County region until well into tonight.
"You should get an additional one to three inches of snow, with winds gusting to 35 mph," said National Weather Service meteor-ologist Geoff Grochocinski.
Weekend snow totals fell short of the predicted 6 to 10 inches mainly because of the warm weather, Grochocinski said. Much of the anticipated precipitation fell as rain.
Park Rapids buses were running on time, said Transportation director Cindy Leach.
The Enterprise was unable to reach bus officials in Laporte, Nevis and Menahga and none of those districts' automated lines gave bus delays or schedules Monday morning.
Winds will start to sub-side slightly by evening and the winter weather advisory is set to expire at 6 p.m., Grochocinski said.
