Update: Missing 5-year-old from fatal Bemidji fire found alive

Ponsford man sent to prison for selling drugs

Myron Neil Boswell, 29, of 2318 Shinab Trail, Ponsford was sentenced to nearly four years in prison in Becker County District Court May 5.

He was charged with three felony counts of second-degree controlled substance crime - sale.

According to court records, on three occasions in March 2008, he allegedly sold morphine pills to a confidential reliable informant working for the West Central Minnesota Drug Task Force.

He allegedly sold a total of 10 100-milligram pills for $560.

He appeared May 5 before District Judge Peter Irvine on an amended charge of third-degree controlled substance crime, sale.

He was sentenced to 46 months in prison, with credit for 66 days served in jail. He must pay $724 in fines, fees and restitution from his prison earnings.
