Ponsford man gets jail for threatening mother
A Ponsford man was sentenced Tuesday in Becker County District Court on a felony charge of terroristic threats.
Ramsey Louis Kettle, 19, whose address is listed as P.O. Box 111, Ponsford, was granted a stay of adjudication on the charge, on conditions including up to five years' supervised probation, 33 days in jail (with credit for all 33 days, previously served) and payment of a $1,000 court fine.
A second charge of first degree criminal property damage was dismissed. If Kettle successfully completes probation, the charge will be dismissed.
According to court records, Kettle was charged after threatening the life of his mother and smashing up her car with a pipe after she threw him out of the house.
