By Tom Cherveny

MONTEVIDEO — Montevideo Police have released a photo of homicide victim Thomas Dickson in hopes of contacting surviving family members or others who may have known him.

Police have been unable to locate any of his family members since the discovery of his body on Dec. 23 in his apartment on Canyon Avenue, about one block from Main Street.

Dickson was employed at Chandler Industries in Montevideo. He has been living in Montevideo since 2011, according to Montevideo Police Chief Adam Christopher.

Authorities are continuing to investigate the death ruled to be a homicide, but are not releasing the cause of death.

Dickson’s body was recovered by authorities in his apartment around 10:15 p.m. on Dec. 23. His death was initially termed suspicious. It was ruled a homicide on Dec. 28 after authorities received information from an examination of the body by the Ramsey County Medical Examiner.
