Pitch the tent; stoke the fire; pick up a book
Park Rapids Minnesota PO Box 111 56470

Century fourth graders had a "Camp Out With a Great Book" time Thursday to not only cheer the end of the trimester, but to celebrate reading and students' reading accomplishments. The students, including Anna Hennagir, above, were asked to cuddle up in their sleeping bags with a good book and flashlight and relax while reading. Music teacher Laurie Anderson led a chorus of campfire songs around a "campfire" (kindling with flashlights) while the students sang and ate s'mores (granola bars).
