Pihlaja's 20 points spark Braves' win over W-H-A

Shelby Pihlaja and Tarah Cleveland had 20 points and nine rebounds apiece in leading the Menahga girls basketball team to a 54-39 victory over Walker-Hackensack-Akeley Friday night.

Cleveland also had seven steals while Hannah Allebach and Bradi Carlson pulled down seven rebounds each. Shannon Skoog led the way with four assists as the Braves improved to 3-2 on the season.

The loss dropped W-H-A's record to 2-5.
