Perham man suffers life-threatening injuries in Thursday accident
A Perham man is being treated at Sanford Medical Center in Fargo, N.D. for life threatening injuries after he was ejected from his vehicle in a car accident Thursday morning.
Faron Joseph McCleary, 30, was traveling east on 450th Street at around 2 a.m. in a Ford F-350 pickup truck when he blew a stop sign, crossed over to County Highway 8, collided with the road embankment and rolled several times, according to the Otter Tail County Sheriff's Office.
He was not wearing his seatbelt.
McCleary was transported to Perham Memorial Hospital and was later life-flighted to Sanford Medical Center in Fargo.
His condition is not known at this time. Blood draws showed there were indicators of alcohol use, but the extent of use is under investigation, according to the sheriff's office.
