Paving crews working on Hubbard County 6 today
Henrietta Avenue a.k.a. County Road 6 is being paved today in Park Rapids and could be finished by tonight.
That’s the word from assistant Hubbard County Engineer Jed Nordin.
Yesterday crews from Tri-City Paving milled off the top layer of the asphalt that has become worn, cracked and pocked with holes over the winter.
Heavy traffic is becoming an issue for workers. There is not a detour, but Nordon suggests if you can take an alternate route, to do so.
The hot bituminous has a tendency to stick to cars.
The road will be paved from Highway 34 to County Road 15.
