A Grand Forks man was sentenced to 1½ years in prison and three years of supervised probation in connection with a crash that caused a man to lose part of his leg.

Justin Teague, 34, was a passenger in the car that stuck Michael Hart, 37, when he was outside his pickup Oct. 17 on DeMers Avenue in Grand Forks, retrieving an item that had fallen out of the truck's bed.
