Parkers open full service glass center

Lori and Tim Parker - with Marley as the business mascot - will assist with all glass needs, from residential to commercial to automotive.

Tim Parker Family Glass will fix your panes - glass that is.

Tim and Lori Parker offer a full service glass shop, Tim bringing 21 years' experience to the business located on Highway 34 east, the "Quonset" located across from L&M Fleet.

The lines of service include auto, residential and commercial, as well as screens and mirrors.

The enterprise is certified by the National Glass Association to replace windshields. Tim Parker will also repair raw chips, with no appointment necessary.

People are not aware of the safety issues related to windshields, Parker explained. "Improper insulation can be dangerous." In the event of an accident, it's imperative the windshield remain intact. A properly installed windshield is key in rollovers.

The Parkers work with all insurance companies for auto glass replacement, taking care of the billing.

Residential windows can be replaced with the frame intact. And he will create custom shower enclosures, residents bidding farewell to shower curtains.

The Parkers will update commercial storefronts, replacing old single pane windows with an insulated model. They will also repair or replace commercial doors.

They provide "fast, friendly" mobile service as well as picking up and delivering cars in need of repair. Emergency service is available.

Tim Parker Family Glass is open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday and 8 a.m. to noon Saturday.

Marley, a black Lab adopted from the Headwaters Animal Shelter, is the store's mascot.
