Park Rapids hits record low of 33
Some spotty rain fell across Minnesota on Tuesday, but little moisture came from a weak trough of low pressure that impacted the state. The region needed a break from all the rain during the month of May.
Much of the state has experienced three times the amount of rainfall that is normal for the month. The Twin Cities, for example, received about 10 inches of rainfall during the month. Normal for the month of May is a little over three inches of rain.
