Warne threw a four-hitter and struck out nine as the Panthers improved to 6-1 this season. White also pitched well, allowing eight hits and striking out nine as Menahga fell to 3-7.

Menahga took a 1-0 lead in the first when Katie Miller singled and scored on an er-ror and White's RBI single.

Warne lined a one-out double in the bottom of the first, but was stranded on third.

The Panthers scored the winning runs in the third. Carson Christenson led off with a single, advanced to second on a sacrifice bunt by Bonnie Baumgartner and scored the tying run on Alyssa Carlson's single. After a two-out walk to Warne, Leeza Tostenson lined a two-run triple down the right-field line to produce the winning runs.

Park Rapids had the only other scoring threat in the sixth when singles by Lizzy Vaudrin and Christenson and an error loaded the bases with one out. White got out of that jam.

Menahga managed only three other baserunners. Miller singled to lead off the third, White walked with two outs in the sixth and Chris-tina Butler singled with one out in the seventh.

Christenson singled with two outs in the fourth and Olivia Vaadeland singled with two outs in the fifth to ac-count for the Panthers' other baserunners.

Miller went 2 for 3 to lead Menahga's offense while Christenson went 3 for 3 to pace Park Rapids' offensive attack.
