Jamie Stewart's goal and four assists led the Park Rapids-Menahga-Nevis-Walker-Hackensack-Akeley boys hockey team to a 5-0 win at Red Lake Falls Monday night.

Stewart assisted on a goal by Luke Jaeger 5 minutes into the game as the Panthers led 1-0 after the first period.

Stewart scored 3:19 into the second period before assisting on goals by Frank Moren at the 12:44 and 15:25 marks as the Panthers claimed a 4-0 lead. Ian Johnson also assisted on both of Moren's goal, including a power-play goal. The Panthers had a 17-5 advantage in shots on goal in that period.

Johnson, who tallied his third assist of the game, and Stewart set up Noah MacPherson for the game's final goal at the 3:57 mark of the third period. The Panthers outshot RLF 19-4 in the final period to end with a 45-14 edge.

Goalie Cody Brumbaugh recorded his first shutout of the season as the Panthers improved to 4-4 against Section 8A opponents and 9-5-2 overall with their fifth consecutive victory. RLF fell to 0-9 against section teams and 3-13 overall.
