Panther Post: Students participate in PTA Reflections contest
The National PTA Reflections program encourages students to explore the arts and express themselves by giving positive recognition for their artistic efforts. Since it was founded in 1969 by Mary Lou Anderson, millions of students have benefited from this program.
The Reflections Awards Program encourages students in Pre-K through grade 12 to create theme-based artwork in dance choreography, film production, literature, musical composition, photography, or visual arts. The 2012-13 Reflections theme is "The Magic of a Moment."
The Century School PTA once again is participating in the Reflections Art Program. Students at Century School entered work in the following categories: Literature, Visual Arts, Photography, and Music. There were 21 entries from 18 students.
