Panther and cohorts share math expertise

Century first graders' math skills moved up a notch, thanks to members of TIME arriving from the high school Friday. Addition and subtraction were honed via Panther Austin Carlson, students "wearing" answers. Levi Trygstad, right, was snared by the big cat. Students figured out the cost of pizza based on ingredients and were slyly introduced to symmetry and reflection using bubbles. The kids also learned about creating graphs, counting and recording M&M colors in cookies, subsequently disappearing.
