Blue Star Mothers, fathers and family members spent Saturday afternoon getting a dozen boxes ready to ship overseas to troops stationed primarily in Afghanistan. "This is a good thing," said Connie Carmichael, noting the group has packed as many as three times that many care packages in the past at holiday time. "That means they're coming home."
