The Itasca-Mantrap Trust Board recently awarded $30,000 in Operation Round Up grants to 48 area organizations, the total now reaching  $184,000 since the program's inception.


Organizations from Hubbard County and Hackensack, Osage, Ponsford and Walker received funds.

Organizations and amounts include Park Rapids Accelerated Readers, $400; Akeley Community Library, $750; Akeley/Nevis Food Shelf, $1,000; Carsonville Volunteer Fire Department, $1,000;
