NY Mills woman charged with aggravated forgery in protection order case
A New York Mills woman has been charged in Otter Tail County Court with aggravated forgery, a felony. Melissa Holtti, 33, allegedly checked an extra box on a copy of a restraining order. She then took the order to New York Mills School, where her children attend classes.
When school officials met with authorities, the original document and a copy were compared, and the forgery came to light. Holtti's next court appearance has not been scheduled.
